Hello dear reader (hopefully someone else than myself), this time I will document the learnings of a course I took from https://courses.underdog.brussels/ called Foundations or Electronic Musci (Level 2). The instructor @OscarUnderdog is quite engaging and explains the concepts quite clearly. Please give him a like and subscribe.
The class that I am into it today is called Intentions. Seems to be a philosophical approach in how to start doing music, understand the "Why", I love one of his quotes (from another of his mentors, which name cannot remember)
"The role of a music producer is to make choices to serve an artistic vision."
Oscar highlights the importance of having a clear understanding of how to analyze music that you like, (tempo, chord progressions, signature sounds, the energy level during the progression of the song, etc.) and how you need to analyze and take notes of those characteristics that makes that music to resonate with you.
