I'm Learning Music Production

Here's My Messy, Real-Time Journey

No Shortcuts. No Secrets. Just One Beginner's Honest Progress.

I don't have this figured out. I'm not here to teach you "the secret" or sell you a shortcut. I'm just documenting what happens when a complete beginner sits down with a Digital Audio Station (DAW), watches too many tutorials, and tries to finish actual songs. Some days I make progress. Some days I'm lost. But I'm showing up—and sharing everything along the way.

What You'll Find Here

My Body of Work (Unpolished & Real)

I'll share tracks as I finish them—unmixed, unmastered, sometimes barely structured. Not because they're good, but because finishing something is the whole point when you're starting out.

Things That Helped (Not Magic Bullets)

When I stumble on a tutorial or technique that actually clicks, I'll share it. But I won't pretend it's "the one trick" that solves everything. It's just something that worked for me, on that day, for that project.

The Mistakes (Because They Teach More)

I'll document the dead ends, the wasted time, the moments I realized I'd been doing something backwards for weeks. If my mistakes save you some frustration, great. If not, at least you'll know you're not the only one messing up.

So Here's What I'm Doing

I'm treating this like a public lab notebook. I try tutorials. I mess around with techniques. I finish things (even when they sound rough). And I share what I learned—not as "here's how to do it," but as "here's what happened when I tried. "Sometimes a tip clicks and I'll share it. Sometimes I waste a week on something that doesn't work. I'll share that too. This isn't a roadmap. It's a journal. And if you're also learning, maybe seeing someone else stumble through it will make you feel less alone.
